With our homepage, we would like to give you information about the BfV´s work. Three quarters of the German citizens are convinced that an institution like ours is necessary for a democracy on guard. However, often there are only vague ideas of the legitimacy and function of an agency protecting the Constitution and of how it is controlled. This is why we would like to offer all citizens the opportunity to learn more about us.
